Past week, two of our team-members visited London for EGX: Rezzed and to do some reference research. We finally boarded the ship which inspired the Herald: The Cutty Sark, a 19th century tea clipper which has been rebuilt into a museum.
It was really great getting to finally see the ship up close and feeling what it would be like to actually board the Herald. We also made a visit to both the British Museum and the National Maritime Museum in London.
The coat Devan, our main character, wears in the trailer was also inspired by 18th and 19th century uniforms. It was great seeing it all up close for the first time!
